I’m Danielle Hammack. My clients and friends know me as Dani. I’m a firm believer that life is meant to be rewarding and fun! It’s my opinion that we are all here to share our unique strengths with each other so we can all move forward and keep getting better…I like to think of it as a kind of “universal teamwork.”
That being said, like many of us do, I ignored my gut for most of my younger years and didn’t slow down enough to actually focus on what my own strengths were until after I had already earned my degrees and invested a few years on the career path that logically followed.
It wasn’t long after I started working in public accounting that it became commonplace for my colleagues to share personal issues and dilemmas with me during late night team dinners and quick breaks from the grueling hours we were working. I inadvertently ended up coaching many of them through a wide range of issues. At the time, these conversations were just a fulfilling diversion for me. It never occurred to me how rare it was for so many of them to be opening up to me with their personal “stuff.” I was being told repeatedly that I had an innate ability to “get right to the core of an issue.” In hind sight it is all very clear that I was being groomed and prepared toward my own strength.
It’s ironic that after all of that practice helping so many others to sift through and find their truth, I still had my own to find and follow. As it turned out, I had to have a back fusion in my early thirties. That procedure ultimately represented what I have come to refer to as “the first day of the rest of my life.” I am living proof that some of us need to be physically stopped in our tracks before we can hear and acknowledge that voice inside that has been screaming at us all along. If I hadn’t been physically sidelined, I may never have slowed down enough to understand this life altering fact.
The silver lining in all of this is that my diverse background allows me to meet my clients and audiences where they are – to advise, share insight and support them on many more fronts than I would have been able to had I not taken such a unique and indirect path myself. I work with people on everything from foundational nutrition and wellness to very specific career issues and goals. At the end of the day my clients come to realize that everything tends to be interrelated anyway.
Coaching others toward their power is my strength and passion! I help my clients to be “wide awake” to their own potential and calling. I’m a retired finance/accounting professional, well versed and credentialed in health and wellness, and I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). My clients have told me this combination is rare, but as it turns out, a very effective one when it comes to helping them to step into their power and harness it!
